A manifesto worth living by. Starring The Chickenoceros.
Seeing more and more of this – and loving the possibilities that it is opening up for us creatives. Great example of thinking that one (or two) extra steps.

The new Myspace - it sure looks sexy. Could this be a game-changer again?
I just got back from my first Creative Mornings talk here in Sydney, where the inspiring Mrs Eaves gave a great talk about her passion for typography, especially hand-drawn lettering. Very inspiring and a great way to start getting back into the Sydney design scene.
Le Coq Sportif also just launched their new site. It is a beautifully designed site, from fullscreen hipster (yes, it appears the French also have hipsters!) videos to a very clean e-commerce experience. One of my favorite parts of the site is their “History” gallery - it does an amazing job, taking you through an intimate perspective of the history of the Tour de France. Vive La France!
Dunhill just launched their new site, which looks damn awesome. One of the stand out features for me is their HUGE search bar - but rather than looking like a clunky UX feature, it is instead an elegantly designed solution. One could say their web site mirrors their products. Well done, Dunhill, well done indeed.

Just read a interesting and highly agreeable ass-kicking review of the new Brooklyn Nets logo.
To think this is the logo that is going to represent “Brooklyn” to the basketball world, is more than a little embarrassing. However, maybe it does suit a team that finished bottom of the NBA last year.
Best quote of the review:
Whether Jay Z opened up Adobe Illustrator and set the type on a curve himself or not remains a mystery but one thing is for sure: the logo family is technically worthless and embarrassing.
Got to love these logos. Credible revised logos, polished with some subtle hipster humour. Nice job!
